She’s a cylon!!!!

We moved into our new offices this weekend.  I’ve actually been working at the new Civic Center in Old Town Temecula for the past few weeks down in my AV room getting all the audiovisual equipment tested and working.  Monday marks the first day we are open for business at the new City Hall.  

I finally get a window.  My plants were very excited about the move, so far they have survived on fluorescent lighting alone and have no idea what sunlight is.  Except now they cant come with me.  Look at my desk, IT NEEDS A PLANT.  Plants are healthy!  The higher ups think its better to not have plants in our new Civic Center, and they think that using tax payer money to rent and take care of communal plants is better.  I’m not giving up though, I plan to change their minds.

Next week is going to suck, there I said it.  Everyone is going to need help with their computers and getting their printers setup and some will complain they want to sit somewhere else, even though this building is 1000 times better than where they were.  It’s gonna suck because half of our department will be on vacation, including the elite Cazi who without him the city would crumble to the ground.  Thank God for a short week.
